Greek Winter
Slowly - but surely - we are coming to grips with the fact that it's winter here in Greece. Snow hasn't started to fall nor has the winter breeze has come to cool us, but it is coming as slow as a tortoise.
Syntagma square has not been decorated yet, the streets however, are full of christmas lights and decors. Shops and buildings also contribute to the christmas spirit that those decorations give to people. The square is full of people who have started buying their early christmas gifts for their loved ones. Buzz buzz buzz, fast walkers, slow walkers, dancers, singers, actors, simple people, bizarre people, filled up the centre today. I wonder what the atmosphere would be like during the christmas weekend? ha ha ha....CRAZY! That's what I think.

MYKONOS!!!!
IT'S SUMMER! SO THIS WEEKEND WAS......It all started on a Friday morning, where we all met up at the metro station of syntagma and ended up in monastiraki where we couldnt get on the train to piraeus coz the line was closed. So we just took a cab instead. In the boat we saw a ROB dude and we had the eye contact goin on but there were no actions. So we arrived in myknos and I couldnt find my dad coz the car was too big and unreal. Mercedes 4-matic. The house we stayed in was nice and simple with a pool and a picturesque view of the sea and a part of the island. These are the windmills of MYKONOS!
Mad tv presenter...Alexandros Simiriotis. Just met him there at the square randomly.
Kris: Hey aren't you Dimitri?
Alexandros Simiriotis: No, I am alex.

21 AND GETTING OLDER IN JULY!
Ahhhh... what can we do on this day of awkwardness. I am in a dilemma, I am invited somewhere on my bday. Should I go or not? Or should I just do something else to celebrate it more appropriately? Well, I guess we have to wait till thursday to know what I will be doing. But in the mean time I am practising my infamous guitar skills and the net is not really helping much with my strumming difficulties :(

JULY.... Is the seventh month in the Georgian Calendar with the extravagant length of 31 days. There are alot of people closest to me that are born in the monthof July. A month that is named after Julius Ceasar by Augustus to honor his name. The birthstone for July is a red ruby which symbolises contentment. The birth flower is the Water Lily or the Larkspur, it consists of two horoscopes, the Cancer and the Leo.
I really don’t know… but, it’s a fact that I’m too comfortable connecting with people born on the same month as I am. As most people would claim, “birds of the same feather…
...make a good feather duster!”
So to all of those July celebrants :
As for me… turning the age of two decades this year is another venture I’m not sure if I’m ready to embark on. Alongside with the excitement, I’m frantic about adding another year in my age. If the Greek students and workers have their so-called ‘July sickness’ if they start to be tired of their new schoolwork or jobs, I, too, have my own version of it.

BDAYZ!!!
Well this is the month where everything happens. PARTIES, MEETINGS, FUN, CRAZY SKINNY DIPPINGS, DRUNKNESS, CLUBBING, AND MANY MORE. I'll start posting pics when I get the chance in fixing my laptop. It was Nidz Bday yesterday and she picked my up after work then we headed downtown to Taf where there was an artsy vintage bazaar and we sat down for a coffee and a drink and just enjoyed the vibe and the atmoshpere. She said she was happy and I was happy to be with her on this special day. Go go Nidz!
Anyways. I'll also post a pic of the professional camera I got for her. She loves it. I got it for her since I knew she wanted one so badly. Well I hope that I can update my blog more with pics.

Not My Cup Of Tea
Well, what can I say? I have been having loads of trouble with work today. Reason? My Co-worker is being hated by everyone. She is an alright person but she is sometimes too much, she just tries to interfere with the work of others and not mind her own business.
Anyways, it is now July and it is alot of people's birthdays including mine! Gosh I am still contemplating on what to do to celebrate it. Maybe a bit of BBQ and fried chinese noodles. And cheesecake! I love cheesecake! My laptop is Ef-ed up so I am now using my brother's PC. I will be uploading pics from work as soon as I get my laptop fixed.
Well, it was nice getting all these things out of my system. Thanks Bloggsterz!

Poem: "Stop all the clocks" (W.H. Auden)
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good
